Flat Bread

These amounts produce 4 buns.
Ingredient | Amount |
---|---|
Flour | 1 1/2 cup |
Baking powder | 1 1/2 Tsp |
Salt | 1 Tsp |
Olive oil | 2 Tbsp |
Water or milk | 1/2 cup |
Instructions⌗
- Mix dries in a bowl
- Mix wets in another bowl
- While wisking, slowly add wets to dries
- When mixture becomes clumpy, switch to kneading by hand
- If still wet add some more flour
- Place dough in a bowl, cover with towel and rest for 10 mins
- Divide into 4 parts, roll each bun:
- Place bun in hand
- Pinch the dough at the top and drag it across the bun, folding part of the bun over itself
- Rotate the bun and repeat, this makes the bun fluffy.
- Bake 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown
