Ingredients

These amounts produce 4 buns.

Ingredient Amount
Flour 1 1/2 cup
Baking powder 1 1/2 Tsp
Salt 1 Tsp
Olive oil 2 Tbsp
Water or milk 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Mix dries in a bowl
  2. Mix wets in another bowl
  3. While wisking, slowly add wets to dries
  4. When mixture becomes clumpy, switch to kneading by hand
  5. If still wet add some more flour
  6. Place dough in a bowl, cover with towel and rest for 10 mins
  7. Divide into 4 parts, roll each bun:
    1. Place bun in hand
    2. Pinch the dough at the top and drag it across the bun, folding part of the bun over itself
    3. Rotate the bun and repeat, this makes the bun fluffy.
  8. Bake 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown
